    Having lived in Chicagoland, we’re happy to have Portillo’s in Florida. The Italian beef isn’t exactly the same, probably due to Florida water vs Lake Michigan water, but it’s come close a few times we’ve been. They aren’t as generous with the cheese on the Beef n’Cheddar Croissant down south, either.

    Ordered 2 hotdogs special with 1 everything in it and 1 plain with reg mayo,mustard, ketchup and pickle. a drink, fries and both came with everything that I did not order. It was nasty, never again.

    Food was better than McDonald's for sure! But variety of options is great. Overall good food, atmosphere and fair price. Portion size was surprising! Very plentiful!

    If you are into hearty beef sandwich, this is the place to go. The big Italian beef sandwich is a must-try - very generous serving. Setting is casual with tall ceiling and old-time diner decor.

    So I ordered a chocolate cake shake. I try it and it taste vanilla. I open it and it appears to be vanilla with some choc cake mixed in but I thought the ice cream was suppose to be chocolate too? I go in to ask and the girl behind the counter says it is a chocolate cake shake and it is vanilla ice cream but they add syrup to make it chocolate. And i said was i supposed to ask for syrup? And i stirred the shake and said because this looks like just vanilla. She said no the shake automatically gets the syrup but they just didnt mix it enough. And then we just looked at eachother for a few seconds and I said OK and that was it. No offer to fix it. I truly think they didnt add syrup because im pretty much done and its still only vanilla ice cream. Even if youre telling me its the correct item, it visually is clearly not made correctly. And your team member even said they just didnt mix it right. If im coming in from the drive thru then there clearly is a problem and yall should be willing to fix it, even if its an offer to mix it better. What do you expect me to do, mix it with your flimsy straw? Spending way to much just to have my food made wrong.
