I visited this location a few days ago and the interaction is still bothering me.
As I pulled into the parking lot I could see a silver Chevrolet pickup sitting at the end of the drive thru line waiting for their food. After I ordered, paid and pulled up to the window that same truck was still waiting on their food. Cars were coming and going around them.
The girl at the window handed me my drinks and McFlurry. Then she said I would need to park and wait for my food. I would have to go around that same truck that had been sitting there this whole time. I told her I would wait at the window for my food and I wouldn’t be parking. She huffed, slammed the window and I could hear her yelling to someone that I was refusing the park.
Jack, a manager, came to the window to give me my food. After doing so, he asked why I didn’t want to park. I explained that I could see that same truck had been sitting there for 10-15 minutes at this point and I didn’t want to end up in the same position - forgotten about, ice cream melting and waiting on food that would inevitably be cold. He became extremely annoyed, very rude and started raising his voice.
He told me that next time I would have to park, I told him that wouldn’t happen and started driving away.
He kept yelling out the window at me and told me it was part of the job and that I have to park if they tell me to. I told him that his inefficiency and need to keep his cars-per-hour numbers wasn’t my problem and again I started driving away.
Mind you the whole time I’m trying to drive away I and having to try to navigate around that same Chevrolet truck that had been in the drive thru that while time.
He continued yelling at me telling me I have to park and next time I wouldn’t be served. I just went ahead and left at that point.
McDonald’s prices are already getting out of control, the least they could to is get you hot food quickly. If I wanted to sit around and wait for food, I wouldn’t have been in the drive thru. I won’t be visiting this location for a while, there are plenty of other options at this same intersection and more being built.
Jack needs some more training, especially if he’s a manager.

TBH, I am about over this place. lol
One day, you experience an accurate, quick, and friendly pickup. The next day, you are dealing with someone that is apparently experiencing their first day on earth and pissed that they made it past the birth canal.
Anyway, please educate your younger employees on common courtesy esp in the industry. I sat patiently at the 1st drive through window for probably a good 5 min. Honestly, no issues with that, it’s a Saturday night. I was just happy to not be rotting at my corporate 9-5 job. In fact, I would have been content to pass away there right at the window as long as it was not M-F.
As your employee was playing on her phone at the window, I was also on my phone, not wanting to interrupt her. Maybe she too was engulfed in the same article that I was reading about how to beat the final level of Luigi’s Mansion III.
IDK but you know what I have an issue with? Deflection and accountability.
When she finally acknowledged my existence, she popped her head out out from behind her computer, shocked that she had a job to do. It was like a baby bird, being fresh out of the egg, but more violent, so maybe a baby pterodactyl. It seemed that she was offended why I was at the window? IDK girl, all I needed was my receipt. Then she softly gaslit me, Gen Z style, about me saying I didn’t need one. Maybe that was her customer from 6 convos ago, bc that was how far the line backed up. Girl I am a couponing queen, ain’t you or Luigi’s Mansion final boss Boo Reddit hack articles stopping me from my Fetch Rewards.
Pay attention to the window or apologize humbly like a normal human being and let us get on with our lives. Wouldn’t have had an issue here if I hadn’t been addressed rudely. Good lorddttttt.

$22 for two meals. Waiting in the driveway thru to order, waiting, to pay, waiting to get food. Get to the window given our drinks and told to pull forward to drive thru spot 2. Wait 10 or more minutes for food. Fries were like warm and not full. Fish sandwich was ordered with extra tartar sauce, but didn't get much at all. Crazy to pay for food and service and both are poor.
