I ordered a Turkey Slim with double meat and it was the lightest sub I’ve ever felt. Absolute ripoff for $9.25 AND they asked for a tip! For what? Existing? Increase your portion sizes! Bread and turkey shouldn’t cost almost $10

It’s been a while since I’ve visited Jimmy John’s—mostly because their locations are a bit off my usual route, their delivery radius is tiny, and I live just beyond reach of every store in town. They also don’t seem to partner with DoorDash, which limits convenience. The store wasn’t busy during my visit (either a quiet Monday lunch or the calm before a sandwich storm). I remember portions being a bit more generous in the past, though to their credit, prices are still lower than Jersey Mike’s. The new hot sandwiches and sides are a nice touch, but the potato salad missed the mark—too sweet, too small, and too pricey for what it was. I’m so sorry but the pre-packaged potato salad looks sad and lonely in a half empty container. Luckily, I used rewards points, so at least my disappointment was free of charge. On the bright side, the bread remains excellent—distinct flavor, fresh texture, and you can take home a day-old loaf for just 50¢. Perfect for croutons or pressed sandwiches. My only suggestion aside from the portioning and doing away with that generic potato salad? Toss in a pickle wedge with the sandwich instead of charging $2.19 for a whole one. It’s the little things that make a big dill. 🥒
