Very good food. Was not expecting this gem in a Disney resort. It was a casual but refined atmosphere. The potatoe wrapped red Snapper was to die for. The filet was very tender a prepared perfectly. Their wine selection is extensive.

Old fashion and bread was the best part of dinner. Food was mediocre. Frutti de Mari was a very small dish, needed to be at least twice the amount. Lobster bisque was terrible.

Overall Experience
Overall, my experience was mediocre. The restaurant is overpriced for the quality of food you receive, as I’ve had similar or better meals elsewhere for less. If you’re on the dining plan, I can see the value. The environment and service are good, but the food is inconsistent—some dishes are excellent, while others miss the mark.
Food
I ordered the ash-encrusted salmon, which was bland and underseasoned. It lacked flavor, and the beet risotto added very little to the dish. Others at my table ordered the Chilean sea bass, char-crusted New York strip, and potato-wrapped red snapper, and I tried each. The New York strip was outstanding—well-seasoned with great texture. The red snapper was also delicious, with excellent seasoning and flavor. The sea bass, however, was overwhelmed by sauce and cream, making it hard to appreciate the fish itself. I would highly recommend the New York strip and red snapper, and strongly advise against the salmon and sea bass.
Environment & Service
The restaurant is beautiful, upscale, and well-decorated. Our waitress was polite, professional, and very accommodating with allergies. However, she struggled to answer specific questions about the dishes and relied on what felt like a rehearsed script. At the end of the meal, she kindly removed the salmon from the bill after noticing I didn’t enjoy it, which was greatly appreciated.

Went for the first time to Disney World Orlando's Flying Fish on the Epcot's Boardwalk area. This seafood focused restaurant originally opened as the Flying Fish Cafe. The original theme, designed by architect Martin Dorf, was a whimsical homage to the "Golden Age" of Coney Island and Atlantic City in the 1920s.The name was inspired by the Flying Turns, a classic 1920s Coney Island roller coaster; one of its ride cars was famously named the "Flying Fish." However, in 2016 this restaurant underwent a massive six-month renovation. It dropped "Cafe" from its name and abandoned the carnival aesthetic for a "chic seaside luxury" look. The current design creates an "under-the-sea" illusion, where the centerpiece is a stunning room-length chandelier featuring hundreds of sculpted glass fish and bubbles suspended from a deep blue enameled ceiling, mimicking a school of fish swimming toward the light.
We went to the Flying Fish to celebrate my niece's birthday, so we had a reservation and were promptly seated in a family table, long and oblong. The service was attentive and friendly. We ordered both seafood and steak dished as both were on the menu, as well as cheese plate appetizers. The portions ranged from small (the cheese plates) to big (steaks). All were composed plates, although additions could be made like lobster tails or ibérico ham. Everyone was very pleased with their dishes except one that arrived cold, but was promptly taken, refired and presented at the right temperature. We did not have any desserts, but they looked appetizing too. A great family experience!

It's acceptable but my first experience was downright degrading. Waiting for my friend to join me, I was led way back behind a wall from a booth but exposed to the many workers that congregate at an area approximately 4 feet from where I was seated. I recognize when I'm being looked down on. I know the difference. When I lived in Coral Gables and someone knocked on my door, I was asked where's the owner of this or when I'm stoned by the police driving a jaguar, the question was where's the owner of the car. I never worked in the restaurant or service but worked in licensed businesses. Not to say I haven't worked i service employment. Because I've done what most people would not do. Live cleaning out the refrigerator after a tenant was evicted and the electricity was turned off or they abandoned after owning rent. I clean the disgusting place or paint when no one is available. I know and saw the condescending treatment that was bestowed on me.
