  Service was alright, waitress was sweet and helpful with food allergies. Food did take a bit and it wouldn't be a problem if me and my partner weren't the only ones there. I did also find some bug in my food which was disturbing. Food was good though despite these factors, but did ruin some of the experience for me.

  We were on our way to SeaWorld and stopped for a quick drink before leaving and our server Denise welcomed us with a smile and made some great recommendations. She also gave suggestions about what to do at SeaWorld and other parks. She made our dinining experience great and we returned later that day for more drink and tell her about our trip. Denise is the best!

  Alen was our server! He was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave us great recommendations that we actually ordered. His recommendations were spot on with what we told him we were looking for. Definitely ask for him when you visit Drafts. The bartender Amanda made the best Old Fashion. I am allergic to Orange and she adjusted the drink to accommodate for my allergies. Most bartenders that adjust can’t get the bitters correct. Not only did Amanda get it correct but to the point it was one of the best Old Fashions I have had in a long time. Did I mention she also Smoked them as well. We will be back. Make sure you ask for Alen (one L) or Amanda. Thank you for a great service.

  If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a sports bar and a poolside souvenir stand had a baby… welcome to Drafts at Westgate Lake Resort. Atmosphere? Think Hooters energy but on vacation mode. Lively, TVs everywhere — not terrible, just very committed to its theme. The food is… how do I say this politely… aggressively casual. If you’re looking for quinoa, grilled fish, or anything that whispers “health,” keep walking. The wings? Solid. No complaints there. The brisket? Decent, but the sauce came in like it had something to prove and completely body-slammed the meat’s actual flavor. Now let’s talk about the “14oz ribeye.” I’m pretty sure 6 of those ounces were just fat trim politely pretending to be steak. I had to send it back. Broccolini arrived with the personality of a raw tree branch — also sent back. When you’re the ONLY restaurant at the resort, maybe let’s tighten that up a little. And then… the tiki cups. $20 gets you a reusable cup with $12 “unlimited refills.” Sounds like a poolside win, right? Wrong. This thing might hold 12 ounces on a generous day. I’ve had larger cups at a dentist office. If I’m at a resort, I want a 24–32oz tropical masterpiece I can sip like royalty — not a mini goblet that feels like a timeshare presentation in drink form. It honestly feels like a trap. Now credit where it’s absolutely due: the staff is fantastic. Denise at the bar deserves a raise and possibly her own resort. She literally ran outside to hand me my mini tiki cup thinking I forgot it. I didn’t forget it. I had emotionally moved on. But she was professional, kind, and awesome. Overall, this place clearly knows its audience and leans into it hard. If that’s your vibe, you’ll probably have fun. But if you’re staying more than a couple days, plan on exploring food options outside the resort — your stomach will thank you. 3 stars for effort. 5 stars for Denise. 1 star for the baby tiki cup.

  It was good, with very friendly service. The menu was a bit quirky, but okay. A really good cheese and seafood dip was served with potato chips, and to get more chips would cost another $5. As owners, we are entitled to a discount. But since we couldn't come up with some barcode on the Westgate app, no luck. Mind you, we had our original member number, physical membership cards and we could show our membership on our app and the website; but couldn't find this mysterious bar code. Kind of silly.
