As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

My order was a Small Number 2 Combo and a Medium Salted Caramel Vanilla Milkshake, totaling $17.99. Food Quality and Service Issues: 1. Poor Food Quality: The fries that came with the combo were disgustingly fried in oil that tasted old and needed to be changed. 2. Short-Changing Attempt: I paid with a $20 bill (cash). The female attendant (African-American, with glasses and long, black hair) initially handed me only a nickel ($0.05) as change and did not provide a receipt. I pointed out the error, reminding them I was owed $2.01. The attendant then reluctantly gave me the correct change, but only after I insisted. This act strongly suggests deliberate dishonesty. Unsafe Parking Instructions: Before the transaction, the attendant asked me to park on "the other side" to wait for my food. Based on the drive-through lane layout, the only safe interpretation was to pull into the parking lot. The only alternative "other side" would have meant going the opposite of the intended direction into the drive-through path, which is unsafe. When the attendant saw I was parked in the adjacent parking lot, she was visibly and auditorally upset. I request that management immediately review the camera and audio tapes for this time frame to address the issues of employee conduct and kitchen standards.
