  A business’s reputation is built on the work ethic and attitude of its employees. The people you hire and train can either drive profitability or push customers away which is why management needs to read this review to the end. I live just a few minutes from the Dunkin location on North OBT. On Sunday, March 29, 2026, around 5:30 PM, I went through the drive-thru and asked the employee at the window if there was any fresh decaf coffee. She said no. I then politely asked if she could brew a fresh pot, and her response was, “No. We close in an hour.” The location doesn’t close until 7pm. Because of that experience, I left without making a purchase and drove about 12 minutes to the Dunkin location on Lee Road. I asked the same question there, and the employee—Amy—responded, “No, but I’ll be happy to make it fresh for you.” That simple difference in attitude made all the difference. Amy was kind, respectful, and clearly cared about customer service. Because of her, I didn’t just get coffee—I also purchased donuts and a bagel with cream cheese. This is exactly how businesses either lose or gain customers. One employee turned me away, while another created a positive experience that earned more business. I hope management sees my review, recognizes the impact their staff has on customer retention and overall success, and generously rewards Amy for demonstrating what good work ethics and putting the customer first looks like.
