Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    This is going to be a negative review but I do want to start off with a positive, that I spoke with the manager on duty, a very nice young girl who offered to make it right but I didn't feel like going back, again. I placed an online order for two fries, what a chicken and a double whataburger. On the burger I requested no lettuce and tomato, add ketchup. What I got was lettuce, mustard ketchup and mayonnaise. They don't come with mayonnaise and I didn't ask for mayonnaise. Every time we go to this location it's messed up and every time I call and tell them, they offer free food and tell me that they're training new hires. Every single time and this happens a lot. It's almost always wrong, either the food is burnt, missing items or they put the wrong toppings on. Well I shouldn't have to make two trips to Whataburger every time I place an online order. So I refuse to the food this time because honestly I don't want it anymore. I'll just go to the Middleburg location from now on

    The service was really great and the staff was amazing particularly a young girl lady named Ivy. She was very kind and very efficient getting Our meal together, so nice to have such an upbeat person to brighten your day

    Truth took my order in the drive thru and was very friendly. I ordered chicken tenders and it was a small wait time, she explained the wait time and pulled me around my food came out hot and fresh and she was very friendly.

    Came in on 1/30/26 Only person in drive thru when we ordered: 1. Had to repeat the order multiple times, asked for plain and dry, was asked if I wanted every single topping one at a time and then says, oh you want plain and dry 2. Waited 20 minutes total with no one of front us 3. Watched as one young lady working the drive thru ran around overwhelmed but not sure how to complete each task and move forward, while multiple employees were standing in a circle behind her just enjoying themselves, talking and doing nothing 4. Lady on drive thru was calling for “David” constantly who was trying, but it was clear, she and everyone else, knew not to ask the dudes standing around in the circle for help, they weren’t about to get involved 5. Food was cold, fries were 3/4 full, drinks were flat and also about 3/4 full Overall, they seemed to screw up every single step, nothing was missed. Hard to blame the young employees that were trying, easy to see most were not. The bad reviews for this place are legit, and sadly repeated. Why treat the customers this way?

    This location used to be better, now they give you what you don't want. Up sales for corporate pressure. Without your permission you just see it on the receipt and they ignore you at the window. You reap what you sow, karma! Lost customer, this location.
