  My husband and I have been coming to Irie Diner for years and this is the first time I have not enjoyed what I ordered. We both ordered jerk chicken with rice and beans and cabbage, plus beef patties. The chicken was under seasoned along with the cabbage. The rice and beans were extremely spicy. You expect the jerk chicken to have a kick but the rice and beans were over the top spicy. This has never been the case here. The beef patties were underwhelming. They were very dry. I suspect they have been sitting for a while. Again I love the food here and hope that this was a one time experience.

  We used to frequent the food here but the the military took us out of town. But we went in for dining service today and the food was very bland. I’m not sure if it was a recipe change or if the normal cook was out, maybe the food was old or rushed but our oxtails were almost not edible and that’s not a cheap dish. I was very disappointed we definitely will not be back.

  A bit small, but good food nice selection of food. Eent with a large party everyone had enough food.

  The Owner and staff was nice enough to serve me right at closing time. They were welcoming and friendly. The salmon was moist and cooked to perfection. The jerk fries were delicious too! I throughly enjoyed my food. I will be going back especially for the service. I ordered take out but sat down and talked with the owner and staff. The only reason my food was in the takeout box.

  This is my 4th visit. My First 3 visits was great.. my 4th visit was just ok.. The atmosphere and the waitress was excellent !! The food was on the border of just ok.. and the portions was rather small for the price.. I had the curry chicken.. the seasoning was ok and the other dish was Oxtails.. seasoning wasn't all that.. over all this is a ok place to visit.. im sure it's a hit and miss on the food.. but they will get it right.. i chatted with the man in charge.. so please visit.. I had fun
