When I politely asked if I could be rung up for two donuts, the manager and an employee in the back responded with complete disrespect telling me, “You can leave.” Instead of correcting the employee’s behavior, the manager joined in with the same dismissive attitude, stating that the drive-thru was “more important.” At that point, I spoke up for myself, and in response, the staff began yelling at me in front of my children simply because I expected to be served after waiting patiently. It’s no surprise this location only has around a 3.4-star rating. Based on my experience, this kind of treatment must be common. I made sure to let others in the drive-thru know about the situation so they could choose to spend their money elsewhere. Customer service matters, and this Dunkin’ location is a perfect example of how poor leadership and disrespectful staff can drive loyal customers away.
