Hands down some of the best cuts of beef I’ve ever cooked. I seasoned them with Ass Kickin’ Habanero Salt, and the flavor was unreal — rich marbling, super tender, and perfectly juicy. You can tell Southern Steer really cares about quality because these steaks were next-level. The staff was friendly, the selection was huge, and everything was incredibly fresh. If you’re looking for premium meats in the area, Southern Steer is now my go-to spot. Highly recommend!

Southern Steer is serving that kind of meat. Their ribeye? Thick, gorgeous, and so tender it practically melts under the fork. The kind of steak that reminds you food can be simple, honest, and downright sensual without trying too hard. I’ve eaten a lot of steak in my life, in a lot of places, and this one holds its own with the best of them. Tried the wagyu burger recently, rich, deeply marbled, and just straight-up delicious. You can taste the care in the grind. The sides? Equal parts comfort and craft. Their white cheddar mac and cheese is the sort of thing that ruins all other mac and cheeses for you. And the pork chops… tender, moist, and cooked like the animal actually deserved some respect. Then there are the pre-marinated options, steak tips, chicken, all kissed with sauces that somehow manage to be bold without being gimmicky. They’ve clearly mastered the art of making meat taste like more meat, not less. But what really seals it is the staff. Friendly, sharp, and genuinely happy to see you.
