  PreOrdered food at 8am on a Saturday to pick up at 10:45 for a game in Gainesville coming from Orlando, traffic was horrible an we ended up getting to Tom's at 11:20. To our disbelief the food had not been started, let a lone ready, after waiting 40 minutes we finally got our food and headed to Gainesville. Once we arrived at Gainesville for the game and started to eat, the Papa Rellanos were not even cooked, the where dough and nasty, the Cuban was half way good, but did not have any mayo mustered sauce, very dry. We have stop here several time,but this was the worst experience we have had. Very disappointed and not sure we will try this place again.

  Stopped here on a whim after seeing the billboard and needing to eat with 4 hungry kids in tow. We were all ready for some real food after spending the past three days and $47B dollars in the world of magic and $25 hamburgers. They didn’t disappoint…This place is legit. The Cuban food was awesome and they even had a grilled cheese on Cuban bread that made our resident grilled cheese critic happy. The Cuban coffee was amazing. The staff were really friendly and helpful. This place will definitely be on our itinerary for the next trip.

  They refused to serve me because of my race. I returned twice but neither time was asked to order. Two people behind me were invited to order and they bypassed me. The food looked good but when your service is this rude, and purposefully racist toward white people, you ought to retrain or train for the first time. This is the food business and hospitality matters.

  This was a cute little place, with a lot of variety. The food looked great, but the “authentic” Cuban seasoning was lacking. I don’t know if it’s meant to be less seasoned (Americanized) but it didn’t hit. The papa rellena had no flavor, the tamales were pretty good. Now the sandwiches (croqueta preparada, and the steak sandwich) were perfect. The desserts were off as well, the eclairs, although filled all the way, were missing the chocolate top. The powder sugar cone was a little better. All in all, if you didn’t grow up eating Cuban food, you will probably love it, if you did, ask for extra seasoning. The service was great, everyone had a smile and were happy to answer all my questions/requests. Thank you. Thank you for the reply, I appreciate your time, and acknowledgement. I changed it to a 5 star, because overall it was a great experience. Thank you, and we will be back!!

  This place is amazing. I feel like no matter what you order It’s gonna be delicious and like nothing you’ve had before. The tamales were crazy good the taro/ malanga bites were probably our favorite thing there and the mango juice. The café con Leche is very good as well and they have guava cheese pastries, which is a reason to go right there alone. Everything is homemade even their sauces are from scratch. They’re fast. They’re cheap. They’re delicious. They’re nice. Couldn’t recommend more.
