- TJTom Janz6 days ago3.0This was my trip to try out the recently much heralded Big Arch burger. Given all the social media coverage, I was expecting crowds, but no such thing. I took the option of adding 3 roma tomato slices. It has the same two burger patties as the double quarter pounder, with three slices of processed ‘cheddar’ along with both slivered and crispy onions. It was smothered in a white sauce and a blizzard of finely chopped lettuce. I certainly needed the five napkins they provided. I was greasy to the point that it slipped around as I tried to pick it up, experiencing a rapid unplanned disassembly about half way through. Was it big? Yes. Was it messy? Extremely! Was it tasty? Somewhat. Not queuing up a repeat visit anytime soon.

We calmly asked why (to which they started mumbling some excuse). Then we calmly said we'd just eat quickly and leave, and then they started threatening us with the police (as far as we understood, because they were speaking incoherently and then, when we asked them to repeat themselves, they immediately ran away).

While at the door, an employee allowed an adult to enter but closed the door on my daughter because she appeared to be a teenager. After my daughter explained that she was no longer in school and just wanted to make a purchase, she was then allowed inside. Even though she was eventually let in, I found it very upsetting and unnecessary that the door was closed in her face. I also noticed other teenagers outside who were not allowed to enter, while one teen was able to go in and out with food for a friend. This experience raised concerns about how teenagers are being treated at this location. This was unacceptable
