  Quick and easy on line ordering, fresh hot food to bring home and eat. Delicous as always and the staff is always so friendly.

  Total hidden gem! My mom, born and bread Hoosier, suggested it and it did not disappoint on the down-home 'just outside of Chicago' feel! Food was excellent, but even better was the service we received from Georgie! She was blunt, to the point, and even ordered for me lol, but all with a genuine smile and the warmth I would come back for alone. She made us feel so much like family, the next thing i knew, we were sharing fries like old friends. If you want a comfortable place with good prices and, best of all great service (Georgie), I highly recommend this place!

  I have to start off with how clean the kitchen is. Sat in the front with a good view of their operation. This was my first time coming to Steve's Place. Tried the tenderloin and it was cooked perfectly. Not greasy, great flavor with a good amount of pork within the breading. Next time I'll definitely try the chicken. It looked so good. The staff was friendly which added to the experience.

  Awesome little diner. Food was hot, fresh, delicious and plentiful. We had the BLT and the Reuben and both were worth it. It is small inside and can only seat smaller (2-4 max) parties.

  While the seating arrangements are intimate, please do not be deterred. The cuisine is reasonably priced, offers generous portions, and is served promptly and hot. The food was delicious, and the staff was welcoming and attentive. A significant queue formed shortly after our arrival, with most patrons choosing to wait for a table.
