Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The staff was friendly and cordial, however i ended up with a cold burger and bun. The same as last time if I remember correctly. I did the drive through, so did not turn around and go back after I but into the cold burger. See y'all in 5 years or so....

I’ve waited less time for a three-course meal at a sit-down restaurant than I did for a simple burger and fries here. To make matters worse, the place wasn't even busy. The staff seems to treat the workspace like a social club, standing around chatting and ignoring the drive-thru line that’s backing up into the street. When the food finally did arrive, it was a massive disappointment. The burger was lukewarm and looked like it had been haphazardly thrown together by someone who couldn't care less. The patty was dry, the bun was cold, and the 'jumbo' fries were a greasy, limp mess. It’s clear that since the corporate buyout, the quality has plummeted while the prices continue to climb. It is insulting to pay these prices for food that is served cold and late by a staff that clearly doesn't want to be there. In a town with plenty of other options, there is no reason to subject yourself to this level of incompetence. I’m done with this location—do yourself a favor and keep driving past this disaster
