  The girl working (on Thurs April 9th) was clearly not interested in working anymore (we got there at 7:25, store hours are until 8). Not friendly, did not inform me that there was no tuna available until after charging for it, and ended up substituting with chicken (which should be cheaper) - of course did not refund us for the difference. The food was ok, but turned off by the absolute clear lack of respect for customers (including those who came in after us).

  I had a very disappointing experience at Big Island Bowls in Newberry, Florida. When we walked in, the young employee didn’t acknowledge us at all—no greeting, no eye contact, nothing. We had already placed an online order and ended up sitting there for over 15 minutes without anyone checking on us or asking if we had been helped. The lack of basic customer service was frustrating and made us feel completely ignored. A simple acknowledgment or update would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I would not recommend this location.

  Delicious smoothie and acai bowls. Can't wait to try the poke bowls. Cute interior with some seating inside.
