Norwood's Restaurant and Treehouse Bar was established in 1946 and has been a place of family fun and great enjoyment since. Located just over the South Causeway in sunny New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Norwood's is a favorite to locals.
Norwoods specializes in seafood, but also serves steaks, pastas, and salads. The Treehouse Bar has a whimsical and welcoming environment and a perfect spot for date night, while the patio and inside restaurant is fun for the whole family! Our talented Chef and his team designs and creates menu items and present them with skill and confidence in our scratch kitchen. The menu is priced to fit every budget and every occasion. The restaurant is gorgeous and we saw it at night. The treehouse was cute and they had a nice lit area for taking pictures. If I am ever in Smyrna each again, I know where I'll be dining!

From the moment of arrival until we drove away, the night was most enjoyable. Beautifully decorated, lot's of great heaters that really added to the ambience, fun table in the tree, really nice and very knowledgable server, and man the food was fantastic. A little pricey but everywhere is now overpriced. Definitely recommend, especially around sunset.

This place was jamming but we got our table right on time. Very good service. We tried the stuffed mushrooms and she crab soup. Both were very nice. The soup came out immediately but room temperature. They have a great ordering systems that gives the server all the pertinent information. We both tried the early bird fish dishes. I had the stuffed haddock which was nice but loaded with salt. Ample Crisp green beans and a scoop of mashed potato. The wind picked up and the topside emptied out. This was first time here in 10 years so I need to try again soon.

We had never eaten in the Treehouse before and were so excited for the experience. Being able to sit outside, enjoy incredible weather, live music, and great people set the tone immediately. Add in NFL games playing (huge bonus for a family collectively rooting on the Jags), and it felt like the ideal holiday gathering spot. Our server, Devon, was absolutely phenomenal and made the experience even better than we anticipated. He was welcoming, cheerful, and truly embodied the holiday spirit. He went above and beyond to make our Christmas dinner feel special — by the end of the night, we honestly felt like he was part of the family. (And I’m fairly certain my dad talked his ear off.) The food was fabulous, the drinks were even better, and the atmosphere was warm, lively, and festive without feeling overwhelming. Norwood’s Treehouse didn’t just host our dinner — it helped make our holiday memories and dreams come true. We will absolutely be back.
