Fiesta Grande Mexican Grill was absolutely amazing! The steak nachos were incredibly tender—truly melt-in-your-mouth—and adding guacamole took them to the next level. The steak chimichanga was HUGE and just as delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
The drink happy hour prices are outstanding: massive, award-winning house margaritas for just $9.99 and a huge 22 oz beer for only $5.50—you can’t beat that! And don’t skip dessert…the fried cheesecake is to die for.
On top of all that, the service was a 10 out of 10—friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even better. Fantastic food, great portions, and unbeatable drink specials. We’ll definitely be back! 🌮🍹

The staff was amazing! Me, my sister, nephew and my daughter all sat at the bar. The place was slammed on a holiday season Monday. I was the only one having a beer and that didn't bother the bartender at all. Salsa and chips were complimentary and tasty. Soft tacos with shredded chicken hit the spot as well.

MY friends and I had the worst experience we have EVER had at this location ! We had Eydan as our server. First off, there’s a lot. We waited over an HOUR for two side dishes and a quesadilla! We had to ask him for refills. He never checked in on us minus the second our dishes touched the table, asking, “how’s the food?” Then walked away! Then he gave us our checks in such a rush that all of them were wrong and when we asked him to fix it he was so antsy and rushed that he spilt a full glass of soda on a coach purse and customer. Laughed and just grabbed her card and walked away. When we left we tried to call the restaurant, they answered then hung up. We called back and it said the voicemail was full. Do not recommend this location and definitely EYDAN

We usually come to downtown Mount Dora once or twice a year. The past few times we weren’t impressed on the selection of food here. Then we found this restaurant and wow it was so good! Definitely highly recommended authentic mexican food and fairly priced for today’s economy. Will definitely be back! Excellent food and great service!

We went to Mount Dora for the Christmas lights, small town shopping and and to get away for the day. It did not disappoint!
We were starving when we got to town so decided to eat at this restaurant. Of course, being the busiest night of the year, the line was long, but we only waited about 20 minutes! As a side note, something they did that I really loved was we had a member of our party who was feeling lightheaded and needed something to eat quickly, so they gave us a bag of Tortilla chips to get us by It was a wonderful touch and I think exemplifies how kind and professional the staff were.
Just inside the restaurant entrance to the left is a step down bar that was also packed. It looked like a fun, somewhat noisy, tyypical cantina!
Seating options were inside or outside, we chose first available. After being seated inside, our drinks came fairly quick. We ordered their cheese to go along with our tortilla chips and salsa. The chips were good. The salsa was a bit spicy, but my favorite was the cheese dip. It did have a little bit of a mild, spicy bite to it , but it was excellent in flavor.
My friends ordered the burrito plate to share and it was huge. They said the flavor was amazing. I ordered the chimichanga plate and it was literally just the perfect size. The Spanish rice side was average Spanish rice, the refried beans were very good and my steak chimichanga was cooked to absolute perfection. The service was a little bit slow, but also they were slammed and I'm sure she had her hands full with other tables.
Overall, the food was very good and you could tell that they made it fresh on-site. My guacamole was also excellent. I'm extremely picky about Mexican food- I would definitely go back to this restaurant again.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is their bathroom situation is terrible. There's 2 unisex bathrooms for an indoor and outdoor seating restaurant, and it's simply not enough. They were not the cleanest. Overall, there's a constant line waiting with no less than 4 to 5 people at all times- I think they could improve that so this could be just the perfect lunch or dinner spot.
