The portions used to make the price worth it but their iconic large fries have shrunk so dramatically in portion and are still a crazy price. Their patties are getting smaller too. Why am I paying restaurant prices for fast food portions. Not to mention everyone I've known who's worked there says they treat their employees terribly. Honestly I won't be returning again.

So...next time I'm in the mood for a delicious burger and fries I'll drive to the Daytona location where they generously heap the fries in the bag. I don't mind paying their prices. I just want value for my money.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
