When I walked in, I was not greeted, and a cook asked if I was there for a pickup order. I explained to the cashier, Christine, that I had been on hold for 21 minutes. Christine, who identified herself as the manager on shift, put the caller she was speaking with on hold and asked me, in an unpleasant tone, “What happened?” When I explained again that I had been on hold for 21 minutes, she held up the restaurant phone and told me that no one was on hold—despite me showing her my phone still connected. Instead of helping me, she chose to take the phone customer’s order first. When I expressed frustration, she told me she would only take my order after finishing with the person on the phone. Being treated this way by a manager is completely unacceptable, and because of this experience, I will not be visiting this location again.
