  Dined here a couple of years ago and everyone raved about the meal. This year, mixed reviews, specifically about saltiness and flavoring of dishes. Apparently, they just changed the menu, so perhaps they are still working out the issues. Previously, it felt as if Ovide was a great restaurant that happened to be in a hotel. Now, it seems as if it's just a good hotel restaurant. Would eat there if staying Bayside at SanDestin or at the Effie, but it's no longer a must visit, given the other options in the area.

  We went for my husband’s birthday dinner and has the most amazing experience! We have been to many fine dining restaurants all over the country and this place has been the best we have experienced on the emerald coast thus far! Staff was very friendly and accommodating, the head chef came out to introduce herself and food was the best we have had in the region! We had steak and scallops and all was cooked to perfection! Environment is not overly formal but still upholds the highest of standards in quality! We will definitely be back!

  Had the pleasure of eating at Ovide for breakfast and it was delicious. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was so tasty! Best hollandaise sauce I’ve ever had. The service was great, and it’s really beautiful inside!
