Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Numerous customers reported slow service and long wait times, with some experiencing incorrect orders or poor customer interactions.
Food Quality
Feedback on food quality was mixed, with some praising the taste while others complained about cold or improperly prepared items.
Staff Friendliness
Several reviews highlighted friendly and attentive staff, particularly mentioning specific employees who provided excellent service.

I love Whataburger but staffing can be difficult. We finished a late soccer game in Milton last night and we stopped through this drive thru. The young man that took care of us was amazing. I wish I had gotten his name, but he was the friendliest and most competent drive thru attendant I have ever encountered. We had lost our game and his friendliness and service wiped out the disappointment we were feeling from the game. Thank you.

What an absolute joke ordered my food at 5:10 PM on January 2, 2026. I specifically asked after every meal for every drink to be light ice and she said oh you want them to be light ice I said every drink I ordered light ice and she said OK. I got to the window. I paid. They handed me the drinks. They were so packed with ice. There was hardly any liquid in the cup And I explained to her that I had asked for light ice on my drinks and even stated it on my receipt and asked if she could remake them and she said OK no problem so as I’m sitting there waiting for my food and for her to do that, she’s constantly rolling her eyes and then proceeds to start talking crap about us to the other employee looking at us while they’re discussing us so then I hand them my receipt and I asked them for a refund. manager Megan comes to the window and I explained to her that I am not going to support a business who employees talk crap about their customers for no reason whatsoever, and I told her that she needed to coach them And let them know that we are the reason that they receive a paycheck in the first place and that is not OK and not acceptable she said OK she’ll talk to them afterwards. Got our money left realize that she didn’t give us our change so I parked car immediately went inside to find Megan the manager laughing with the two girls that literally were just talking crap about us as if it was some kind of joke that they just had to waste $50.12 in food And thought it was OK to mock customers over their own mistake. I guess this is how Whataburger runs their business over at this location I am absolutely appalled and disgusted by the behavior here and I will let all my friends and family know to totally avoid this place.

Placed an order on the app, about 6:18 to be picked up curbside at 6:30-6:35. I had gotten a notification at 6:25 that my order was being prepared and checked in around 6:30ish just to get my drink and sit there around 20 minutes. Not expecting to be there that long I went to the counter and waited another 5 minutes without anyone saying a thing to me. Finally I look over where they set there mobile orders behind the plexiglass to see my order just sitting there. Will not be returning to this location
