  I visited this Tropical Smoothie location on 1/11 around 4 PM, and unfortunately the customer service was lacking. The employees working at the time must have missed the customer service training, neither I nor any other customer was greeted or acknowledged. Everyone behind the counter was wearing AirPods, which may explain why no one seemed aware of customers walking in. To make matters worse, my açaí bowl was frozen rock hard and not enjoyable at all. Overall, it just wasn’t a good experience. On a positive note, the location itself was very clean, which I did appreciate.

  I genuinely enjoy their smoothies, but unfortunately the ownership makes it hard to recommend this business. I was supposed to receive a $50 refund for an order that never arrived, and despite multiple attempts to contact the owner—by email, message, and phone—I never received a response. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. Be cautious, because if something goes wrong, you may lose your money.

  They did not want to accept a $100 bill, no signs or anything. Manager was nice and courteous but didn’t want to take our money, mentioned it’s due to the owner and company. Maybe have a sign or something?

  I had one of the worst experiences of my life at this location. On August 11, 2025, I specifically told the staff that I could not have avocado due to a severe allergy. Despite that, they gave me a wrap with avocado in it. After eating it, I suffered a serious allergic reaction—violent stomach cramps, vomiting, diarrhea, and weakness so bad I had to stop at multiple stores just to make it home. I had both of my grandmother and newborn with me, who depends on breastfeeding, and I was terrified for my health and their safety. This reaction also caused me to be late picking up my daughter from daycare, which added late fees, and I missed out on working during peak delivery hours, which is how I support my family. This was not just an “inconvenience”—it was life-threatening negligence. Allergies are not a joke, and customers trust restaurants to listen when they disclose them. I am deeply disappointed in how careless this location was with something so serious.
