  Happy Hour Heaven! Tanuki offers a beautiful happy hour menu from 4 - 7pm and on Saturdays they have $8 shots. (love that) The kitchen knew exactly what they were doing crafting each dish. The happy hour portions are pretty small and light but reasonably priced to allow for more choices. (Endless options) I highly recommend the beef gyozas and the Brussels sprouts, seriously way too good. The star of the show was most definitely the “wasabi” martini. Reservations should be encouraged so you are seated right away. Serving all the aesthetics!! This place was a hit.

  Went for lunch on a Wednesday, place was empty and it took a full hour to get our food. The waiter came to the table twice, had an empty water glass for the entire meal, the food was undercooked and brought out cold. The sushi that was ordered was falling apart, the rice used was not sushi rice and the fish was definitely not fresh. Very sad.

  This place is genuinely hideous from the moment you step inside. The atmosphere is depressing and grimy, with an overall sense that cleanliness is an afterthought rather than a priority. Nothing feels fresh, inviting, or cared for. The décor looks tired and neglected, and the smell alone is enough to make you lose your appetite before you even sit down. The staff are just as unpleasant as the environment. Rude, unprofessional, and clearly uninterested in doing their jobs, they treat customers like an inconvenience rather than people paying for a service. Basic courtesy is completely absent—no warmth, no attentiveness, no effort whatsoever. It feels chaotic and disorganized, as if no one is in charge or cares

  The atmosphere looks amazing, but be warned, dont sit outside on the patio. The smell of old oil was just horrible. Couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from until we got our food, one of which was the sesame chicken. The chicken was made up of what tasted like cheap chicken nuggets, fried from our perspective in old sesame oil. It tasted just like the patio smelled. For the price we paid for dinner, $325 for 4 people, ripped off is an underestimate! Avoid this restaurant and if you don't, beware of theirnfried foods at the least.
