As a Mexican born and raised in California with endless REAL Mexican food… this was overrated. Their ‘quesadilla’ was just a flour tortilla with random ingredients on top. I still can’t find an authentic spot here that isn’t overpriced.

I came here for the first time. It was a random decision. My friend was in the mood for tacos and he discovered this location. We stopped by in a Monday evening. The service was super pleasant. The server was able to explain the menu to us and help us decide what to eat. It was pretty quiet I guess because it was a Monday. Now, on to the food! It was fresh and so good! Since I’m pescatarian I went with the fish tacos and hands down one of the best fish tacos I’ve had in a while. My friend also had the fish tacos, shrimp and the avocado tostada. We also had the corn equites which were really good. Oh for beverage I had the pineapple drink and my friend had the watermelon; they were both so fresh and good.
I can’t wait to visit again.

Tuve una experiencia increíble en este restaurante. Desde el momento en que llegué, el ambiente fue acogedor y el servicio impecable.
Quiero destacar especialmente a Camila, nuestra mesera, quien hizo la visita aún mejor

Love love Tacombi, i was hesitant orginally things it would be a regular taco chain. The atmosphere, the FOOD, the music, is terrific. Rigoberto has been my server multiple times and I can’t say better things! A must in Design District.

We had a wonderful experience at Tacombi! The food was delicious and felt so authentic — definitely some of the best tacos we’ve had in the area. Our server, Dayanna, was amazing! She took such good care of us, made great recommendations, and even brought out a free sample of the esquites just because she wanted us to try it. Such a sweetheart!
The churros were also delicious, and the overall vibe of the place was really nice — casual, fun, and not overly expensive for the area. They also have happy hour and Taco Tuesday specials (I think it’s buy one, get one free tacos), which is such a great deal. We’ll definitely be back — and definitely asking for Dayanna again! 🌮✨
