I've never been to a restaurant where I was ignored to the point of apparently not existing. I was the only person there in line, standing still in front of the bread selection section for 3 minutes, and no one came to attend me. There was a woman doing a task behind the kitchen counter which is understandable (only way to see me was to turn around and look). However, there was a young man, about late teens to early 20's, in the back part of the kitchen standing around and playing on his phone. I saw him because the door to the back part of kitchen was open since a person was delivering food. The cashier in my opinion was most at fault here and to the point that he didn't even care that I was waiting patiently for someone to attend me. He's the only worker that noticed me and didn't do anything but sit in a chair at the cash register, looking forward at a wall the entire 3 minutes I was there standing still. As if he was just trying to ignore me. Was a tan male in his late teens to early 20's. Not for sure but might've been wearing baige cargo shorts. He could've easily called one of his co-workers to come assist me with what i want, but didn't. The only comparable scenario to this is the classic episode of "Spongebob Squarepants" where Patrick was mindlessly blankly staring at a customer while he was trying to give him an order, doing nothing to assist them. What I remember when previously working in fast food, is that you check to see if there are customers in case there were any that needed attending. Not even bothering to come ask me what I want is just one example of bad customer service. Whoever was working the cash register at 10:20 am on 9/21/16, needs some form of additional customer service training because he is obviously not well-suited for it, or find another job because he isn't fit to be working for a food-related company.
