I mentioned that Subway should communicate this up front where customers are making decisions (menu boards/printed menu), and the response could've been handled more professionally. After I paid in cash, the cashier immediately spoke to the sandwich maker in Spanish about our interaction and gave me a mean/disgusted look, which came off as dismissive and disrespectful. Food was fine, but the lack of clear pricing transparency and the customer service left a bad impression.
