Corporate called me on 11/11. A guy named Chris Ardenes whom stated to be part of the corporate office located in Doral Florida. He never apologized for the inconvenience experienced at this store. He offered me my money back. $41.02 this transaction was PENDING REFUND SINCE 11/11. Today 11/21 @11:30am he cancelled the refund (voided) and now I won’t be getting my money back. I attempted to call him many times and he did not answer the phone. I am flabbergasted that such a big corporation acts this way. No respect for their customers. I need answers. I have a police report and don’t mind lawyering up if needed. Their employee verbally attacked me and if it wasn’t for her co-workers stopping her she would have jumped the counter and hit me. Chris I am waiting for your call. Where is my money??????

Still waiting for corporate to reach out to me regarding the incident that happened at their store on Friday 11/7 @8:45pm !!!!!!!! The police are now involved and I have a police case number as their disgusting employee attempted to attack me physically with her manager ANA PARADA doing nothing about it. Police went the next day 11am on Saturday 11/8 to ask manager on duty for my receipt to get my money back and he told THE POLICE that he “DID NOT KNOW HOW TO RETRIVE a receipt” lying to police and clients is absolutely absurd I am going to get my money back otherwise I’ll be contacting my law team to retrieve footage from the night of the verbal and almost physical attack by their low class employee. CORPORATE I AM WAITING FOR MY MONEY BACK…… ????????? How much longer do I have to wait for proof of my receipt which you guys did not give me the night of 11/7 nor to the police of coral gables on Saturday 11/8????????

I went to the Pollo Tropical on Coral Way and Douglas Road (Store #10038) last night with my children, and what happened there was honestly one of the most upsetting experiences I’ve ever had at any restaurant. My order was taken outside by a very kind employee named Alessandra, but when I got to the drive-thru window, another female employee immediately treated me rudely—slamming the window and handing me my order with no napkins, utensils, or sauces. I calmly asked to speak with the manager, Ana Parada, who said she couldn’t help with my rewards points but gave me a note for 20% off next time. When I checked my food, both Caesar salads had burnt chicken and the sandwich I ordered was burnt and drenched in sauce even though I asked for no sauce multiple times. I went inside to get it remade, and while a male employee kindly tried to help, the same drive-thru worker came to the front screaming in Spanish, cursing at me, and threatening to fight me in front of my children. Her coworkers had to hold her back while she continued yelling and trying to come toward me. The manager stood by and did nothing to stop it. I was terrified, embarrassed, and left in tears. I had just come from the hospital after two surgeries and only wanted a quick meal for my kids and me. Instead, I was verbally assaulted and threatened by an employee while management did nothing. I filed an official complaint with Pollo Tropical corporate (Ticket #GSXXXXXXXXXX) and have video evidence of the incident. I hope corporate takes this seriously because no customer should ever go through something like this—especially in front of their children.

I have gone to Pollo Tropical various times at many locations throughout Miami. I can easily say this was the WORST experience I have ever had. First let’s talk about the service: We walked in, and ordered with Adolfo (who was clearly on something). We had to repeat our order 4 different times and he still managed to get it wrong. When getting the food, we asked for sauces and Karol could not have been more rude. I simply asked for the regular bbq, and she handed over the guava bbq. I asked her for the regular bbq and she said that there is no difference between the two, and when I pointed out that there is, she abruptly interrupted me and said that they don’t have any more regular (which is just an excuse to not take the three seconds to exchange the sauces). Simply because of her and her attitude, we will never be going back. As for the food, it could not have been worse. The tropichop and Powerade all tasted like cleaning product. It was so abismal after one bite I threw it away because I did not want to get sick. The atmosphere was also the worst out of all Pollo Tropical’s I have been to. Taking into consideration its location, we thought it was going to be cleaner, but we were dead wrong. The place was FILTHY and absolutely DISGUSTING. Not only that, but we truly felt UNSAFE going there. Due to the lack of quality of other Pollo Tropical foods, KAROL’s attitude, Adolfo’s lack of care, and the unsafe attitude, it is safe to say that we will NEVER go back to this location. -100/10
