The worst New Year’s Eve experience for the most incredible cost of $1400 For four people.!!!! Reservation was at 8:45 PM. We made the reservation months earlier . We were allowed to go in at 9:45 PM. One hour late, no apologies from anyone. They gave us a private room which we did not ask because we wanted to be in the restaurant atmosphere. The private room had chairs that my grandmother once had in her shack she lived in. No table cloths anywhere. That room look like something cheesecake factory wouldn’t put you in!! Quite literally. $250 a person plus gratuities that were automatically slapped on without any consideration for what we wanted to do. For that, we got an eight course meal which consisted of each plate having something on it the size of an inch. Tiny little things that you couldn’t make out to see what they actually were. About a spoonful on each plate that they would bring out. It wasn’t too bad in taste but ridiculous for the price!!! And then there is the waiter situation. Not a lot of them speak English. Problem number one ! problem number two is they didn’t have enough staff and so we didn’t get our food and we had to beg for service each and every time. Since they let us in at 9:45 PM we had to beg for them to give us our last plate at 11:56 PM… at every course we had to beg them to bring it! . Almost missing New Year’s Countdown which was outside by the pool. I must’ve asked five times for waiters to hurry up. Other people at our table asked a dozen times and nothing was done. We even went up to their station where they were coming in and out of.. I don’t see this as a waiter problem. I see that as a Restaurant planning problem….. They absolutely failed. But they charged us an Arm and a leg. When we finally got out to the poolside for the party, there was a stampede of people trying to get in which they couldn’t handle. The girls working there We’re so confused and could barely get people in with some kind of wrist band. Out of a party of 11 I’m the only one that got this wristband. Not that it mattered because nobody checked for any wristbands and it’s simply delayed me for the countdown of New Year’s. There was absolutely nothing going on poolside, other than a DJ who was simply Playing beats. No songs that anybody would recognize or would dance to. In fact, nobody danced. There were people so dressed up for this event with such high hopes and there was absolutely nothing going on. Absolutely nothing.!!! There was no champagne served, although that was promised. Total and utter boredom with nothing to do.. Some of us don’t even remember the countdown to New Year’s. I don’t think there was one. And there was no traditional New Year’s song played. It was just nothing. There was one person serving grapes in little cups that people just grabbed. We hung around for about five minutes with nothing to do, but just look at other people that have nothing to do and then went right back into the restaurant, back onto our wooden ridiculous chairs Into our boring room…. And waited for the bill. Half an hour later, the bill came. No one cleaned our table at all while we were gone. Because they just don’t have the staff. The bill for 11 people showed up at a whopping $4000 with a $600 automatic gratuity, an automatic 20% on the pre-tax amount . For that kind of service (nonexistent, erratic at best and delayed to the point of utter annoyance!) the gratuity should’ve been $100 max. And then they had the audacity to write at the bottom of the bill. What 18% would be, 20% and 25%extea would be added a little more. All the people in our party were absolutely flabbergasted at the whole thing. It was nothing but a huge money grab with nothing to offer to anyone. Total shame, shameless money grab. Did I mention the valet service outside for $48 for that night and the drinks that were extra at the bar for $25 each? Don’t go there.

Visited NUNA at the Four Seasons Miami over Christmas. Unfortunately, the Arroz de Mariscos was oversalted to the point of being nearly inedible. At this price point, consistency should be a given regardless of the holiday timing. The experience didn't match expectations for a restaurant of this caliber. Would consider giving it another try on a regular evening, but this visit was disappointing.

Food was not good at all, definitely overrated. The service was great, the staff was very nice, and the place looks beautiful, but the food needs major improvement.
