    Fabulous food. Went here for our anniversary and loved it. Our waiter, Mo, gave us a 5 star experience. Please request him! Beautiful view of the water as well.

    Private room event for 20 guests seated long-table format. Service and food were great. Wine selection was good. Exactly what one would expect from a Mastro’s. Pre-booking of the private room was pretty easy. The POC will send over food and wine selection to choose from beforehand, and a deposit is taken to secure the date and time. Great for work and friends to gather.

    Yesterday, my friends and I went to Mastro’s for the first time, and we were really excited to try it. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from start to finish. Our reservation was at 9:30 PM, and we arrived early around 9:20. We were told to wait at the bar but didn’t get seated until almost 10:30 — about an hour later. Once seated, it took another 20 minutes before our waiter came to take our order. When the food finally arrived, the meat and the fish were overcooked, which was very disappointing considering the prices. The portions themselves were good, but the quality of those dishes definitely didn’t match what we expected from such an expensive restaurant. Even our single dessert took more than 30 minutes to come out. When we received the check, I assumed the tip was already included (as it often is in upscale restaurants), so we paid and I went to the restroom. On my way back, the manager stopped me and said, “My server told me you guys only left him $10.” I was completely caught off guard, as I genuinely thought gratuity was included. Instead of politely clarifying or asking if everything was okay, he said, “I let you guys in knowing your dress code wasn’t acceptable, and you don’t take care of my employees.” Then he added that our check was high, so we should have at least paid the 20% tip out of it. That comment was unprofessional and unnecessary. I would’ve had no problem tipping 20% if he had approached me respectfully, but the way he handled the situation was rude and condescending. No customer should be spoken to like that, especially in a fine dining restaurant. Between the slow service, overcooked food, high prices, and rude management, this was not the luxury dining experience we expected. We were really looking forward to trying Mastro’s, but unfortunately, I wouldn’t return or recommend this location.

    Wonderful Meal - got the steak. Atmosphere: 10/10. The singer... I am only putting 3 stars because of this. Sorry to say. My wife and I did not love her. She seemed unprofessional and ruined the lovely meal we were having. I believe her name was Jordan? Jessica? Besides that 10/10. I will recommend to my friends and kids.

    Booked on a whim, as we had walked past and it looked nice. Greeted by an incredibly friendly front of house, taken to our table - which we were told was the best in house, normally I’d assume that’s just restaurant talk, but this probably was the best seat. Didn’t get our servers name but she was very friendly, knowledgable & quick! I went for the 16oz New York Strip which was sensational, cooked exactly as ordered, tender & full of flavour. Girlfriend went for the A5 Wagyu sushi, which she was similarly impressed with as I was with mine. The ‘side’ of wagyu tallow fries is enormous (and delicious), probably enough for a table of 4. We went for a bottle of Merlot which was also excellent. Broccolini, bread basket & garlic mash were also excellent accoutrements Couldn’t recommend Mastro’s any higher - we are only here for a few more days but there’s every chance we’ll be back before heading back to Scotland.
