stopped by Koko for some Mexican food and it instantly became one of my new favorite spots. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, but the highlight of my visit was Rey. She was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming the entire time.

The original ambiance honors the cultural tradition from a contemporary approach. Organic and coherent, from the blend of the decor and the openness that the big glass windows provide that allow the surroundings of the location to take part on the stage of the experience to the original twists on their cocktail menu and the unforgettable fusion of fresh warm made in heaven tortillas with the succulent and robust fall of the bone rib eye a la le leña.
Amazing dessert and the service is outstanding. The staff shines for their cordiality and knowledge of steps of service from attention to detail to the eagerness of consulting with the bartender for a recommendation that fits our request.
Nostalgic, comfortable and authentic rusticity; paired with innovation, quality and excellence that will submerge you in a cozy friendly and refined experience…
Don’t forget to bring another adventurous palate to the experience so you can choose and share!
Buen provecho!

I would give it 5 stars for the watermelon margarita but … since they don’t have highchairs they get a 3. What people with babies don’t get to dine at nice restaurants? So lame to exclude.

I was recommended to come here by a friend, and honestly, I was disappointed. We came here for our anniversary, expecting a great experience, but it fell short.
Our server emphasized that this restaurant provides a Mexican experience. Well, I am actually Mexican, and I didn’t enjoy the experience at all. The server also wasn’t very knowledgeable about the wines and couldn’t give a proper recommendation for tequila.
The salsas that came out with the table were bland and not flavorful and also there's no chips provided, just the salsas. The red sauce tasted like spaghetti sauce, and the green one wasn’t flavorful or spicy at all. I was curious why they would provide salt with both sauces. Now I know why, Everything from the appetizer to the entrée needed salt.
Also, I realized this place is owned by the same group as Bakan but if it’s basically the same menu, I don’t understand why it’s presented as a different restaurant. It doesn’t make sense.
The only good thing was the drinks they were well made and enjoyable. But overall, the food felt like a gentrified version of Mexican cuisine, mixed with influences from other Latin foods, losing the authentic flavors that truly represent Mexico.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and on top of that, there was a 20% service charge added automatically, regardless of how the service was. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a genuine Mexican experience.

Great Mexican restaurant, pricey as is all of Miami. Went for Happy Hour w/8 friends. WARNING: If you're at the bar, you are only allowed to converse w/the persons on either side of you. If you stand up and go speak with someone else not adjacent to you, management will immediately flag you and threaten expulsion. They argue area must be kept clear, akin to a fire lane. They mentioned they might be fined by the fire dept (???) - though half the bar area is outdoors + there's a fire station a block away. Could be they didn't pay off the right people otherwise, it simply a poorly designed bar area - I mean, going to a bar and not allowed to stand up and speak to other patrons/friends? A bit ridiculous
