I celebrated my birthday at CAVA and it was such a great experience! From the moment we walked in, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Jeya especially went above and beyond to make my birthday feel extra special. She was so warm, patient, and genuinely sweet — it really made my day even better.

We had such an amazing experience at CAVA! The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. Everyone took their time explaining options and making sure we were comfortable with our choices.
Jeya truly stood out, she was incredibly kind, attentive, and made the whole visit feel special. I love CAVA and was so excited that they finally opened one in Aventura. I genuinely think their food is delicious, and the fact that it’s always packed should be a great sign. But unfortunately, this location is kind of a disaster.
First off, there are barely any tables to sit at. To make things worse, I saw one table eating Chipotle and another table of three eating burgers from Kiddo, with only one person actually eating CAVA. Meanwhile, paying customers who ordered from CAVA had nowhere to sit. If the space is already limited, outside food really shouldn’t be taking up tables.
The staff also didn’t seem to have much urgency. While we were choosing toppings for our bowls, the employee helping us just stepped away, even though the line was building and we were clearly still ordering. Then at checkout, the line slowed down even more because the customer in front of us hadn’t finished paying, and the staff had to count their cash multiple times. It just felt disorganized overall.

The food is great and service is usually good, but the lady working checkout with the many face piercings was very rude. She did not respond when I said hello, didn’t tell me my total, and just rang up my bowl while looking at me. When I said thank you, she continued to stare without saying a word. I love Cava, but this experience felt awkward, uncomfortable, and made me uneasy. I hope future visits feel more welcoming, as it is strange not to acknowledge customers whatsoever.

I was genuinely excited when this CAVA location first opened. The food was great, the service—although slow—still felt enthusiastic, and the overall energy made the wait completely worth it. I was coming here three times a week during those first few weeks.
Unfortunately, the experience has changed over time. The excitement that once defined this place seems to have faded, especially among the staff. Customers still show up, but the employees often look bored or disengaged, and it shows in the service.
They frequently run out of basics like chicken or lentils, and I’ve waited through those shortages more times than I can count. On top of that, the team often doesn’t listen to your order, which leads to unnecessary waste and a bowl that isn’t what you asked for.
Removing successful menu items—like the shawarma chicken—was another step backward. It really feels like no one is actively managing or leading this location, and the inconsistency reflects that.
This CAVA started strong, but it needs serious attention to get back to the level of quality and energy it had when it opened.
