Best Indian cuisine without a doubt. The attention you get the moment you walk through the door is incredible. All of the food selection is exquisite. I came once and said to myself “I have to bring my in-laws” and when we left all they could say was how they couldn’t wait to come back. 10/10 I don’t have better words to describe it.

We had such a wonderful experience at Ashoka Indian Restaurant for a birthday lunch! A special shoutout to Kathia, took such great care of us. She was incredibly sweet and attentive We ordered the Dum Paneer Kali Mirch and it was absolutely amazing. The entire staff was warm and welcoming, which made the birthday celebration even more memorable. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the lovely service.

I recently returned to Ashoka Indian Restaurant after remembering it as Saffron, but the food didn’t live up to how I remembered it. We ordered two fish tikka masalas, but only one came out at first. The second arrived about 20 minutes later and looked completely different. Both dishes had very little meat and were much milder and less flavorful than expected. Overall, it was disappointing compared to the quality it used to have.

We were looking forward to visiting the place, but it was a bad experience in terms of service. First of all, you arrive and there's a very strong incense filling the place, but amen, it's understandable, it's part of the cultural ambiance, so you adapt. The appetizers arrived quickly, and the mango lassi drinks were like a very tasty mango yogurt. The problem was that it took more than an hour between ordering our two main courses and receiving them. They served five tables that arrived after us first, and they only resolved the situation after we complained to three employees, including the apparent owner. We complained about the long wait. They charge an 18% tip, no matter what, and they didn't apologize or offer any complimentary side dishes or anything. I wouldn't go back except for the mango lassi. The chicken tikka masala dishes were okay, but nothing spectacular, and the garlic naan was bland. A shame. 7/10 for the food itself, but...

Amazing Experience of the Senses! It was our first time, and it was one of the BEST dining experiences we have had in years! We tried some Garlic & Cheese Naan, as well as some Onion Kulcha, which were soft, freshly baked w/ a delicately balance between the cheese and spices. The Virgin Drinks, specially the Mango Lassi were delicious! They also brought some Lentil crackers for those who ordered beer, and it was quite a tasty compliment. The Pistachio Lamb chops curry provided a tantalizing experience between spice and sweetness, which became a new favorite! It was evident that the Chef and Cooks were not only cooking those dishes with traditional ingredients and techniques, but also with love for the craft, which translated into every bite of flavor explosion we took from the Chicken Vindaloo to the Lamb Chops Masala. We had some kids in the party, and it was their first time trying Indian food, and they devoured the Naan bread, the Seasoned fries, the Tandori Shrimp and the Seasonal Kulfi! Our Waiter Katya was most attentive, and provided excellent customer service at all times. As she was bringjng out drinks, she overheard us mentioning that we were celebrating a Birthday, and she corteously brought the most Decadent Pistachio Tart w/ a side of Pistachio covered ice cream with a candle! She was exceptional! Whether you are a Foodie or just love Indian Food, Ashoka is the best place to enjoy some delicious meal with family or friends!
