We ordered a few vegetarian dishes and were mostly disappointed by the taste and portion sizes. The south Indian dishes in the menu appeared to be an afterthought to the rest of the menu and were flavourless and not authentic by any measure. The chutney's and dosa were missing salt. The mulligatawny soup was just moong dal puree. Daal tadaka was super spicy even though we asked for medium spice. The server asked us if we wanted our daal vegan or with ghee tadaka, and failed to mention that the ghee tadaka was another $5. Their vegetable kadhai was the saving grace. Overall the experience was very ordinary and bit disappointing.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were courteous, but the overall experience was average. The food was just average and did not particularly stand out given the pricing. The wait times after order was close to 30 minutes, which felt longer than expected. Additionally, a 15% service charge was automatically added to the final bill, which was not clearly communicated upfront. There is certainly room for improvement in terms of service and pricing.

Group of 8 including 4 hungry kids. What I felt as a parent and friend who brought so many ppl withe me: Staff was friendly overall, but the waitress’s comment (“you are still hungry??”) when we ordered more due to small portions came across as rude or judgmental, for sure! Chicken Biryani was more of oily fried rice rather than proper layered, spiced biryani, “not so good” and lack authenticity Chilli Chicken was more like a tangy tomato-based dish instead of the expected Indo-Chinese spicy, garlicky version🤷‍♀️ chef needs a cross training from India on few dishes, would genuinely help if the team just sat down and read 3 star below to understand the pain point of consumer Kulfi dessert was served straight from frozen packets (sealed) with no plating or presentation effort, which felt lazy for a higher-end spot where you pay 18-20% gratuity and service charges across FL Portions and value were small quantities for the price, leading to extra orders. Beers and drinks were chilled and served nicely🙌

This restaurant cheated us by practically by begging us to order the cashew curry but they added 30$ for apparently doing a modification by having chicken in it. We were going to order the chicken tikka instead but they forced us to order the cashew curry. The paneer tikka was burned and was stale. Naan was average.Overall the food was below average. Our waiter cleared the dishes even without asking whether to clear them or not. And the highlight was they charge 18% gratitude for all because of the Christmas season but the menu card never mentioned it and only said the gratuity was for tables with 6 or more people. We would put a zero star on this restaurant.

I'm not normally the type of person who leaves reviews, but this is actually so ridiculous that I feel compelled to say something so this doesn't happen to others. I will keep it simple. I ordered the loaded butter chicken poutine for $18.99, description: "Delicious fries tossed in our butter chicken curry with cheese curds and topped with jalapeños, onions and scallions". Attached photo is what I received. Now, did they taste good? Sure. Was it worth almost $20 for glorified cheese fries? Absolutely not. I even paid extra for the chicken version instead paneer and there was not one single shred of chicken to be found (or jalapeños? Scallions? Onions?) I just feel like on good faith I have to give this one star. 👎 Save your money.
