  Aromas del Peru This weekend we visited Aromas del Peru. The ceviche was absolutely top-level. The cuisine is outstanding overall — everything related to raw fish was prepared with great care, full of flavor, and felt very authentic to Peruvian style, as far as I can judge. Everything was fresh, well-balanced, and very appetizing. I would especially like to highlight Lomo Saltado — an excellent dish and definitely one of the best on the menu. The Tuna Tartare was good as well, although it felt a bit dry; a little more sauce would have made it perfect. Desserts were excellent. We tried the Tiramisu and Cuatro Leches — both were very interesting and delicious. I highly recommend trying the desserts here. The only important downside was the service at the beginning. After we were seated, it took over 10 minutes before the staff noticed us, brought the menus, and greeted us. I understand the restaurant was busy, but the initial guest welcome and prompt menu service are crucial in any restaurant and should be handled much faster. Guests can always be given time afterward to review the menu and receive recommendations, but the first contact should be immediate. Overall, the food is on a very high level, but the service needs improvement. Because of that, I’m giving 3 stars. Great kitchen, but the service still needs work.

  We have been to Aromas del Peru many times but never to the Hammocks location. The food was great as always. Our waitress Ruth was amazing and so was Maria. Definitely recommend.

  I hadn’t been here in a free years. But what a great experience. The waitress was very helpful and recommended a few items that were not on menu that were amazing glad she did. Went with a friend that only spoke English and she did her best and made sure she explained everything in English so he understood. The food was amazing the risotto was a little salty and I told the waitress and she wanted to change it but I don’t return food unless it’s a health hazard. But she kept trying to help us. But regardless everything else was amazing. Thank you so much I’m glad I decided to go there that night.

  An attentive staff (Nicole and Maria were our servers) and a wonderful menu. Food came out hot, freshly cooked and sooo tasty. I had the seafood lomo salteado and my husband the seafood jalea del mar. Will we come back? YESSSS It's great to have a restaurant like this in our neighborhood.

  Durante muchos años llevo viniendo a este restaurante con mi familia y siempre la atención y la comida han sido excelentes. Fuimos atendidos por Ruth y como siempre, la atención excelente. Cien por ciento recomiendo Romas de Perú
