I visited this restaurant specifically because they advertise a gluten-free menu, but the experience was terrible from the start. I told the server that I’m allergic to gluten, and instead of handling it professionally, he was rude and condescending. He told me, “This is a sushi restaurant, so everything has soy and gluten,” but then said he would bring me a gluten-free menu… which makes no sense if they actually offer one.
On top of the bad attitude, the service was extremely slow: it took over 16 minutes just to bring me a glass of water.
Overall, I left feeling like they don’t take food allergies or customer service seriously. I do not recommend this place for anyone with dietary restrictions or anyone expecting basic respect.

We have been to zuma numerous times and the food and experience is always amazing but tonight was exceptional. If you go, you have to ask for Mariano. He is the best waiter I have ever had. Very attentive and kind. He is so knowledgeable about every dish and each zuma restaurant around the world. 11/10 experience with him.

One of the best dining and hospitality experiences I've ever had. The staff took a lot of time to understand what kind of meal I was looking for while offering me a unique/exotic experience as a traveller. The 12-course meal was supreme. But beyond that, they gave me the best dessert I've ever had, and even personalized it with a welcome note as a first-timer. Never had a restaurant do that, and I'll be visiting their franchise somewhere else. Many thanks to those who worked when I was there on 11/7.

One fine meal. Service was above expectation. Claire made us feel welcome and appreciated. She was not at all intrusive, but kept coming back to make sure everything was well. We chose a fixed menu for our dinner, and had the opportunity to taste various menu items. Cocktails were great too. Dined outside which appears to enhance the experience, as others have pointed out here. All experiences are unique but I do not think this restaurant will disappoint you.
