  The food is very good; however, the service—and specifically the billing process—was inconsistent and unacceptable. We visited this restaurant four times over the course of three days, and each time, the suggested gratuity was calculated differently. They state that a 15–20% tip is recommended, yet they automatically add 18% to the bill themselves. It’s a rip-off... If I want to leave 20%, I’ll do so of my own accord—don't take people for fools by applying the "recommended service charge" inconsistently across different bills.

  I visited Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in Miami and had a fun, tourist-style seafood experience. The restaurant has a lively, movie-themed atmosphere inspired by Forrest Gump, with lots of playful décor and merchandise that makes it feel more like an experience than just a meal. I tried a few shrimp-based dishes and they were flavorful, especially the fried and Cajun-style options. Portions are generous and service is generally friendly, though it can get slow when busy. Prices are a bit higher for the casual quality, but the vibe and location make it enjoyable overall.

  We had a great time at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in Bayside! The restaurant is full of cool memorabilia and references to the movie Forrest Gump, which makes the whole vibe really fun and unique. A huge shoutout to our waitress, Ramona, who was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed with a big smile. Service like hers really makes a difference! The food was delicious and the overall experience was top-notch. Highly recommended!

  Entering the establishment was very confusing with little to no direction from staff. First impression of staff was unhelpful and disorganized. The theme was fun and they have a store attached like cracker barrel. They have drinks with souvenir cups. The food was average. My favorite item was the kids popcorn shrimp. They have a fun ship that they give the kids with their meal.

  We had reserved a table for this evening. I had made the reservation back in early January. The welcome we received was already quite unfriendly. Unfortunately, we were assigned a table on the terrace, as we were told that everything inside the restaurant was fully booked. It was baffling. When I book a table at a themed restaurant, I don't want to sit out on a terrace; that completely defeats the purpose of the experience. After asking several times how this could be the case, I was rudely informed that the place was simply full and that I would have to wait 20 minutes for a table inside. We ordered anyway—though, truth be told, we had actually considered leaving. However, on my way to the restroom, I noticed that there were easily 10 empty tables in the back section of the restaurant. I sought out the manager to discuss the matter, and we were subsequently assigned a table inside. The food was okay—but nothing more than that. All in all, it was a disappointing evening.
