Bangkok Bangkok is another gem I couldn’t recommend more. It’s very much a hole-in-the-wall, strip mall kind of spot - the front is unassuming and doesn’t do it justice at all. But step inside, and you’ll find a cozy, Thai-themed space with friendly staff and a welcoming vibe.
That said, the food is absolutely the star. The duck pad thai was incredible - I didn’t think anything could top it… until I tried the Pho my better half ordered. The broth was unbelievably rich and flavorful - honestly one of the best I’ve ever had.
Low-key spot, knockout food. Don’t let the exterior fool you.

This place used to be amazing It was our favorite but we were very disappointed with our last visit. We ordered the pricey Bankok Bankok fried rice. There was barely any squid and only 3 shrimp and the portion was much smaller than it used to be. The spring rolls were also almost empty. I don’t know if there was an ownership change but definitely not the Bankok Bankok we used to go to. Will not be back.

We visited Bangkok Bangkok, a cozy little Thai and Japanese spot tucked away in the Shops at Kendall plaza on Kendall Dr. It seems like a favorite among locals—the ambiance is nice, quiet, and small but very welcoming. Service was incredibly fast, too.
The appetizers were the absolute highlight. I had the Beef Satay, which was spectacular in both flavor and presentation. My wife ordered the "Shrimp in a Blanket" and swore she would definitely get it again. For our mains, she had the Vegetable Soup, and I ordered the Fried Rice with the Special Chicken Teriyaki. Unfortunately, the teriyaki crashed my expectations. It just wasn't like the chicken teriyaki I’ve had many times elsewhere and definitely needs some work. Overall, a great quiet spot with fantastic starters and service, even if the main course fell a bit short
