- JCJA ClaassenJan 1, 20262.0The service here has just about tanked. If you have an issue with your order (or even when you place an order for that matter) you are talking to a call center in Sri Lanka or someplace. With the large order we placed on NYE, we were shorted 2 pizzas. The delivery guy was rude and said “that was all the pizza he had” for us and left. We had a room full of people ready to eat so we took the pizza “he had” for us and called the store. But it wasn’t the store. I was patched through to the store and was on the phone for a total of 22 minutes (while my party was going on without me and I just wanted all 6 pizzas and 2 garlic knots that I paid for). With the actual Merritt Island store still on hold, we then drove to the store. I showed the lady I had been talking to at the actual store that I was still on hold and she smiled and said, “Oh, that’s crazy I thought I hung up on you.” Meanwhile, my party is still going on without me. We asked for a refund of the $15 tip for the bad delivery guy and when she couldn’t figure out how to do that in the system she decided to refund the whole order. At least, she said she refunded the whole order but we shall see. While our pizzas were out of the I’ve and boxed we stood there another couple of minutes while she continued to fidget with the register (even after acknowledging to the guy who boxed our lost pizzas that they were ready.) So we stood there waiting for our food until she was ready to pass it on to us. After having been longstanding customers of Papa Johns, we won’t be buying from them anymore. It’s just not worth the hassle when there are so many good local shops around now. Bye bye Papa Johns. Good luck with the way you now conduct your business. We’re out.
