Treating my Mom to a Saturday lunch on a girl's day. My Mom was looking forward to trying Panera's steak sandwich,(such a disappointment) there was minimal amount of meat, not even enough to cover one side of the bread. We had to clean up our own space before, we could even sit down and to think I paid $28 for 2 , 1/2 sandwiches with 2 of the new juices for our drinks.
Checking my account the following day, only to find out that Panera charged my card 4 times in a row for the exact amount.
When I first reached out over the phone I was speaking with Alexis, she was asking for me to come in and or email my information with proof of the charges. ( she was already in the process of helping someone in the restaurant from Saturday 4.25 with the same concern of being charged multiple times) I provided immediately what was asked of me to
Send. Not hearing anything in the next couple of days, I call back Alexis is not working so I spoke with a Jaime, who confirmed receipt of my email, but pretty much let me know that she checked my rewards account and was only showing 1 transaction, so it had to be my bank or credit card company. I shared with Jaime that I was aware that I was not the only one that was charged multiple times, she told me to get with my card company and confirm that it was them and have them take care of it.
Where is the customer service , definitely not at Panera , at least not at the Avenues location in Viera.
I contacted Discover and confirmed it was Panera that processed all 4 charges.
I responded to advise same to Panera via email and received no response.
You want a good meal and or any kind of customer service , find someplace else.
If you do decide to frequent this location Make sure you pay cash and or monitor your account!!

Really very sad to see the new location. I understand that rent at the avenue has to be very expensive, and lacking a drive through isn’t optimal. New layout feels crowded and as others have mentioned, far less cozy. Muffin was underdone - as in raw. Coffee now comes out of an instant coffee machine and tastes watery like it came out of a k cup. Very likely we will not be back.

We hoped the new building for Panera, in Viera, would motivate their team to keep it cleaner. It is as dirty as their old building! Tables and chairs are covered with crumbs, and the ladies room was dirty, with sticky floors and a filthy garbage can lid. The new Bacon Rancher is small and not good, with little meat, and the only good things were the strawberry poppyseed salad and tomato soup. Where the heck is the health department and management???? We won't be eating at Panera anymore!!!!

I love the new store. It is a definite Upgrade. I order on line from within the store and had my order within 10 minutes. It was delicious and the folks behind the counter were friendly, professional and kind. They love their new store

I enjoyed my interaction with the cashier I had this evening (I think her name was Karley maybe) she was super sweet and gave me no problems with my complicated order. And I hate complaining but my only issue is that majority of the other workers standing behind the counter would not stop staring in not a nice way lol (granted they’re probably high schoolers). I was standing around waiting and waiting and never realized my food was done because they didn’t say my name nor close the bag, and when I went to ask the girl if my order was ready she bluntly said yes with attitude.
