  wow, imagine my surprise to go and have what I considered a wonderful time at the chart house (from previous experience) to a bland dinner, salad was old, prime rib, I could have cooked it much better at home, Service was spotty, and that was early afternoon. Music was horendous, they should fire their marketing person. Should be smooth jazz, not crappy loud music. Long and the short of it folks, what used to be the number one fine dining establishment in Melbourne is nothing more than an applebee's (no offense Applebee's). You can NOT spend over $200 for a meal that was as bad as it was and not expect your customer base to say something about it. I'm heartbroken. Won't ever go back. do yourself a favor and find some place else for "fine dining"

  We chose Chart House to celebrate my birthday, anticipating a high-end dining experience. However, our party of three experienced an extremely deep disappointment regarding the quality of the main courses, particularly the fish. All three of us ordered different fish entrées, but sadly, all three dishes exhibited a serious issue: The fish was not fresh and appeared to have been poorly preserved. The texture of the fish was mushy, lacking firmness, and missing the characteristic fresh flavor of quality seafood. When prepared, the overall quality was terrible and unacceptable for a restaurant of Chart House's caliber.

  Great atmosphere, but far from good food. MANAGEMENT has zero control of this place. Atmosphere is beautiful with views of the water, server is pleasant and entertaining. (Great Humor) Chef, and kitchen staff absolutely “lost at sea” while first time around steak was served completely burnt to a crisp, was sent back to arrive a second time completely raw, while manager was pleasant and gave it a third go around, results in the same failed attempt. Received a small comp to the bill and paid the $350 check. A well ruined night, with plans not to return. Caution to all those to allow this place to work out they issues prior to returning.

  This seafood and steak restaurant, located in a picturesque location, impresses with its refined ambiance and magnificent views. The interior is elegant, with attention to detail. Soft lighting, comfortable furniture, and stylish décor create an atmosphere of luxury and comfort. The menu offers a wide selection of fresh seafood and succulent steaks. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch. The preparation is impeccable. The seafood is varied and delicious. The steaks are perfectly cooked, with a rich flavor. The service is professional and attentive. The waiters are polite and competent. The prices are above average. However, the quality of the food, service, and overall atmosphere justify the price. The restaurant is ideal for special occasions, romantic dinners, and business meetings. It is a place to enjoy exquisite dishes in a beautiful setting. Overall, the restaurant leaves a very positive impression. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates fine dining and comfort. I will definitely return.

  Went to dinner here for my husbands birthday recently, it was a great time until the waiter dropped my plate of food directly onto my lap. The food was burning hot directly on my legs and arms, and it completely ruined my dress. I went to the restroom to attempt to clean myself and when I left the manager made a joke at my expense saying “are you the girl we are throwing food at”, then offered to pay for my dress. How thoughtful, except nothing came from that. When I got back to my table I was offered a new meal, when it was given to me it was clearly someone else’s food they gave me as it wasn’t my order. After that I no longer wanted to eat and it was difficult for myself and the rest of my family to enjoy our night out. I was told I would get a call from someone in corporate regarding the situation to try and sort everything out, again nothing came from this. No one has called and it’s been over a week. I am extremely disappointed $500 spent here for a terrible experience!
