I had never tried Bojangles before so I stopped in to give it a go. I was not too impressed with the quality of chicken tender in my most honest opinion. I’ll explain it like this, imagine you took a napkin and soaked it in water for a day, rolled it up, battered it and fried it. A crispy exterior with a very mushy, semi cold interior. I have never had chicken taste and feel soggy. I was disappointed. But on a lighter note, the wait staff was very friendly. Alyssa at the front counter was very polite and accommodating. I am curious to try their other items and I will only go because of the wonderful service I received. Over all I give the restaurant a 3/5 but I will be updating my rating based on the other menu items. I have heard great things about bojangles from the north south (north of Florida) and I hate to be disappointed.

I haven't been to a Bojangles in a while and I really wanted some good fried chicken. Imagine my disappointment to pull up and find out that this location only does chicken strips! The least they could do is put that on the menu sign because I would not have ordered anything there had I known. The food was just so so. Even though the chicken was advertised as being spicy it just didn't have any flavor. The fries were just covered in salt and while the texture of the biscuits was great again, very little flavor. Maybe it's because I don't eat it fast food restaurants very often and I know what good food taste like because I cook it all the time. It sure wasn't worth 10 bucks

What has happened to Bojangles the new one in Melbourne Florida is terrible. Second visit on the eve of February 23, 2026 in the drive through. This is not the quality they have in North Carolina. Chicken strips that had more breading than meat and flavor was terrible. They failed to add the sauces as requested. Biscuit tasted like it had been fried in old fish grease and what happed to sweet tea wasn't as they advertise. I tried it twice now and poor both times. I'm done and others I have talked with has said the same thing.

The whole Saturday night crew was really great! Shoutout to Brittany, Alyssa, and Zaniyah!! My daughter and I wanted to thank you ladies for the recommendations, and for hooking us up with some good food! This was our 1st time trying Bojangles, the food was good, especially the chicken sandwich! We didn’t love how much seasoning was on the fries, but it’s nothing the staff did wrong! They really were great!

Refused Service on a Motorcycle
I’ve been riding for over 12 years and have never been refused service at a drive-thru until today.
I stopped at this Bojangles location while out running errands on my touring motorcycle (nearly 700 lbs and relatively quiet). When I pulled up to the drive-thru speaker, it didn’t detect my bike, which was surprising, but not a big deal. This happens occasionally with motorcycles.
So I did what riders typically do: I pulled up to the window to place a quick order (just one item, BoBerry Biscuits).
Instead of helping, the employee at the window immediately told me I had to come inside. I explained that the speaker didn’t pick me up and that I was only ordering one item. I also mentioned that it wasn’t practical to remove all my riding gear just to come inside and wait in a long line.
While I was explaining, he started taking another order and then shut the window on me.
To be clear:
I was the only one in the drive-thru when I pulled up
I was polite and reasonable
I was ready to order immediately
This wasn’t about policy, it was about customer service.
I ended up going to Arby’s down the road, where they had no issue serving me.
Unfortunately, this experience cost Bojangles a customer. I’ll also be sharing this with local rider groups so others know what to expect at this location.
