My main item — the one I actually placed the order for — was missing again. The first time it was my donuts. Today it was my iced latte with two extra espresso shots (over $12 by itself). The Uber driver told me the drink simply wasn’t given to him. He was kind enough to drive back to the store and bring it to me, which I really appreciated — but that is not his job. His job is to pick up what the store prepares, not to check the order for accuracy. This responsibility is on the store. When you accept a mobile order or a delivery order, it needs to be made correctly, packed correctly, and handed over correctly. Simple. I tried calling the store multiple times and nobody picked up. On an island as small as Marco Island, with only one Dunkin’ and basically no competition, there is no excuse for this level of carelessness. A location with this responsibility should be operating at a five-star level — not 3.7 and dropping. This review is not to attack the staff personally, but to make it clear: accuracy matters. Customers should not have to chase down missing items, especially on repeat orders.
