We went in between lunch and dinner with our fresh caught fish. We did the catch and cook and it was fantastic! You can order it cooked two ways and we chose blackened and Lazy Days way. Both delicious. It came with salad and two sides. We were stuffed! The fish presentation was really nicely done. Great service and water views. One of our best meals while in Marathon.

Ok, not the same owner as Lazy Days Islamorada, and not the same quality and standards. We had the greek salad with grouper and snapper for lunch. Food was decent. View is great. However the place is run down and not cared for. Bathrooms are falling apart. Dirty corners inside. Which makes me wonder about the cleanliness of their kitchen. We ordered seared tuna for appetizer to share, the waiter brought only one chopstick and disappeared.

Food was very nice for the price Our server did not know what was on the menu and had to look at the me menu as we pointed it out to her and there were several mistakes when she brought out our order She then put her fingers in an unfinished cocktail and apologized and replaced it however billed us for an extra drink!! The end point was that the bill was paid in cash and we asked for change to be able to work out the tip a she returned it with 20% already deducted! We won’t be back as I I have never eaten anywhere in the US where the customer has no control over what the tip, 20% is the expectation, yes but please let me decide!

The positive - server was very attentive. Beers on tap were good. The fish sandwich was good. The bad - I asked the server if the prime rib sandwich was shaves. she said yes...it wasnt. It was just a piece of meat that was burnt (not blackened on one side and greyish on the other). A tough dry piece of meat not even your dog would appreciate but wouldnprobably eat if hungry. My husband ordered the jerk (maybe grilled) chicken sandwich. He said with enough mayo the sandwich was fine. Nothing special. It barely had salt and pepper, definately no jerk seasoning. For the sides, patoato salad is mostly mayo and not very much flavor. A weird scoop of butter found its way on my plate. Will not be returning. Agree with another reviewer. It was the worst meal i've had in the Keys. Should mention the prepackaged chocolate ice cream for kids meals was a hit with my niece. of course, it was pre-packaged. (Probably like everything coming out of their kitchen).

We went early (5) to avoid any wait and get seated right away. Don't let the atmosphere scare you when you walk in, there is a musty smell and the bathrooms are very dated but the service and food were great. Jorge was our server and he was very kind and efficient. Sit outside for the best sunset view. We enjoyed all our food, prepared quickly and delicious! The calamari appetizer was not heavily breaded and was still tender and not chewy like you get when some places over cook it. Hubby got fish which was perfectly blackened and I went with the chicken prepared Lazy Days way and it was incredible! The corn chowder is homemade and very good. You can order just about anything the Lazy Days way and I highly suggest it.
