Food: food was bad. Peel and eat shrimp were not deveined and appeared to have been frozen. Grilled catch of the day - Mahi Mahi - did not appear to be seasoned whatsoever. The salad was a handful of lettuce with large chunks of tomatoes with some ranch. Sandwiches were mediocre, as were the coconut shrimp. Conch chowder was 5% conch and 95% chowder. Drinks seemed watered down. The kids PB&J was good.
Service: server was nice but appeared to be splitting her time across the whole restaurant; we were not seen often.
Atmosphere: gift shop at front of shop. Dirty overhead fans/light fixtures. Drop-down weather covers for the balcony were not very transparent and blurred view.

We had a large party of 12 at Lazy Days South and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing overall. The bathrooms were dirty, which is never a good first impression and made us question the cleanliness of the restaurant in general.
The food was a major letdown. Several dishes were overcooked, and the filet mignon was especially bad—tough, dry, and nowhere near what you’d expect for the price. Two people ordered the ribs and fried shrimp, yet somehow received completely different meals: one plate had small, frozen-style fried shrimp, while the other had fresh, colossal shrimp. That kind of inconsistency is unacceptable.
By the end of the meal, half of our group didn’t even eat their food because it was that poor. With so many issues—from cleanliness to food quality and consistency—it’s hard to justify more than two stars. Very disappointing experience, especially for a large group

Unorganized to say the least. And the lobby smells like a freaking urinal cake it was atrocious. I actually can not fathom that i waited here for 45 minutes with 2 small kids, left because the hostess was legitimately hiding in the kitchen rather than answering guest questions….? Lol insane. So I was not able to tell the hostess we were leaving & they could take our name off the list. We got there 745, left at 830ish, it’s now 9:20 and they have still not called us to seat us. Omg this place is insane! Unorganized. Smelly. Rude bartenders. Next!!

Food was bad. Mahi mahi sandwich fish was thin and hard. Service was bad. Asked for sauce and never received it. Left without water for a long time. Server only came by every 10-15 minutes. Atmosphere was bad. Everything was dirty and gross. Oddly quiet at times with no music people talking.
