  Took 43 min to get my order, even though I ordered and paid online saying they were going to take about 13 min to do it , i received a incomplete order which i went back and got my missing items , the food was very tasty , the salsas were very disappointing because they are not fresh or house made they were cheap versions of tapatio like red and green salsa , the place was very dusty and greasy. The cutting boards and kitchen area look dirty .i saw the cook multiple times wiping his gloves with a towel and cleaning the cutting board wiping it with the same towel . No one in this place changed their gloves at all.

  The food was fine, but the restaurant setup is very impersonal and seems to be set up for take-out instead of dine-in. There was no one to take your order, just two self-order kiosks. If you wanted water or silverware, you had to ask the staff, who were very willing to help, but also very occupied with take-out orders. I would recommend supporting a restaurant that actually pays a workforce of human employees to interact with customers.

  Dined in today, ordered the Birria Mac and cheese. Needless to say; I’d have rather burned a 20.00 bill. The pasta was over cooked and mush. The mac n cheese itself was soup (pools of oil on the surface) and left much to be desired. Have no idea how to even resolve this as there was no manager present to address the food quality issue and your order by kiosk so nobody is really there to assist you regardless of the situation unless you catch an employee at the front restocking real quick

  Normally, my reviews are done by myself, after multiple visits (if able). And even when I am with friends, I try to be objective, finding the good, the bad, and any noteable items that makes a place stand out. Well, Talkin' Tacos Maitland stood out in a few ways. The first was how gross the food was! Now, I can eat anything, I enjoy all kinds of foods. But after only one visit, you couldn't pay me to go back to this location. I got the crunchwrap and the elotes, with the Hochata. The Hochata was the only thing I actually enjoyed. But the corn was gross. I literally paid $7 for canned corn. That was not elote. That was canned corn with a couple sprinkles of cheese. The crunchwrap beef was also probably the worse graded beef you could get. I'd have been better off just getting a crunchwrap at Taco Bell? Probably. 1/3 the cost for the same terrible product. If my friends had more influence on the reviews, the food would be a 1 star. But the Horchata was my saving grace. Now, I do want to give a shout out to the 2 employees working. That place was pretty busy, between online orders and people coming in, I was ultimately shocked neither of them just didn't walk out. Instead, they hung in there and kept that place going. On the one hand, you probably could benefit from more staff on a Friday night. But on the other, kudos to the team members. The thing about Talkin Tacos is that a) it's open late and b) the food they offer might seem better than, say McDonalds. Those are the things that stand out. I just hope the employees get paid fairly for the work they have to do.

  We came in for the first time the other night and will definitely be back again in the near future! Isabel made our experience all that much more enjoyable, she was so patient with us as we looked over the menu, let us sample sauces and some of the street corn. She kept a positive attitude and a smile the whole time we were there. The portions were huge and they were so tasty!! We tried the location in SoDo and were not nearly as impressed with the food or the service. I would highly recommend this location over the other.
