  Right in the heart of John’s Pass, this place delivers the full Florida experience — great views, good energy, and food that’ll make you hang around a little longer than you planned. The whole restaurant has that fun, laid-back vibe you expect from a spot on the water, with plenty of Forrest Gump touches that keep things interesting. The seafood comes out fresh and flavorful, especially the shrimp dishes (obviously), and everything is cooked just the way you'd hope in a place with this reputation. It’s one of those spots where you can kick back, enjoy the scenery, and let the world slow down for a bit. If you’re strolling around John’s Pass and want a dependable place to sit, eat, and soak up the atmosphere, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. is an easy choice.

  We’ve hit I believe every Bubba Gumps in the US except for the Treasure Island, Florida location. Stopped in yesterday and had a great time with the wife. Ordered some cold beers and Cajun shrimp. Our server Nick was a Rockstar! Amazing service and what a great attitude. Will definitely go back.

  When we arrived there was no one at the hostess stand and we waited almost 5 min before a server came over and sat us and told us that our server would be right with us. The same person who sat us came back and apologized that the server was to busy and he would take our drink order. My friend ordered water and I ordered coffee. When he returned with my coffee I asked for cream, a few minutes later he returned with a bottle of International coffee creamer and said it was one of the servers that they didn't have any creamer. We ordered dinner, a cup of chowder for my friend and s bowl of gumbo for me. We also each ordered a ceasar salad The chowder was thick and delicious. I really liked my gumbo, great flavor and not spicy. The salads came out and were nothing more then bag lettuce put on a plate with croutons and dressing on the side. Overall not a great experience.

  Service was great. We had Lexus and Madison as servers. They were awesome. Very attentive, drinks were always filled. Request for sauces and other items were filled promptly . They were friendly. Food on the other hand was slow to come out of the kitchen and quality wasn’t good. I’ve had better from the supermarket freezer.

  My wife and I are always looking for someplace new to try. We've been by here many times. So tonight we decided to stop and have dinner. From the moment we came in the door everyone was very friendly, and sat us right away. And the food was delicious. But the best part of the whole experience had to be our server "Kelsea". We have been to many restaurants. And when we find a good server we get there name so we can add it to our list of good servers, so we know who to ask for when we go back there. We have had many great servers added to that list over the years. But none have ever compared to Kelsea. With her amazing/bubbly personality, friendly disposition, and great service she provided. And how she made us feel like family. We will definitely be back soon.
