I worked in the hospitality industry when younger, but this is ridiculous. I rushed like crazy to get there at 11:42 PM. I took a picture with the time stamp of the hours of the store which clearly states open until 12 AM. My best friend is the store manager of a Starbucks. You serve until you’re closed. I’ve been a waitress and been sat five minutes before closing. You don’t turn them away or refuse them food. When I asked if there was a reason they closed open tonight on January 3rd, the gentleman said yes. I asked what it was, he just repeated they’re closed. Change your hours if you aren’t going to stay open until the time stated.

Instead of canceling the order on their end, they told me I had to cancel it myself just so they could still get paid. I was charged for an order that was never made or delivered and had to go through the hassle of disputing it. Even the driver confirmed that the restaurant refused to cancel, saying they “don’t have the capability,” but Uber support told me directly that they absolutely do. Completely unacceptable experience.
