When I tried to use it 1–2 months later, the card showed as invalid at this store. I later contacted Five Guys customer service, who confirmed that the gift card is valid and has no issues. While the manager never explicitly said the card was stolen, her tone, attitude, and body language made me feel as though I was being treated as if I had brought in a stolen or illegitimate gift card, simply because I no longer had the receipt from two months ago. This was extremely uncomfortable and unnecessary. What made it worse was her clear impatience and unwillingness to even try processing the card more than once, or to offer any constructive next steps. Mistakes can happen, but customers should not be made to feel suspected or dismissed when asking for reasonable help. This experience reflected a serious lack of professionalism and basic customer service.

Five Guys began its pursuit to redefine the global burger landscape in 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked three of their sons whether they wanted to start a business or go to college. The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
