  Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant in Lakewood Ranch among the five I have tried My only complaint would be our waitress was slow checking on us, but all the food came out quickly and tasted delicious

  First time here. Awesome visit. Absolutely nothing negative to say. For real. Fuego SHOULD be much higher rated. Perhaps prices scare some? THIS place offers FLAVOR, uniqueness, intentionality and serious quality. None of the generic Tex-Mex you find anywhere else. The service by Nelson was fantastic. We loved the decor and comfortable chairs. The chips and salsa are some of the best we’ve had anywhere. We added the chorizo to the queso and loved every drop. Some places have menus that have a couple things that interest you, but I saw SO many things I wanted to try — and now I can proudly say we’ll be back soon. We had the pork belly and barbacoa tacos… and their flavor combos are perfect. Especially the pork belly!! We shared the butter cake skillet for dessert, and that, too, was to die for! So, for $62 for 4 items (including chorizo for queso), it was a steal to be so thrilled with a meal. Yes, there are cheaper places all over. A dime a dozen. I cannot be more emphatic in urging folks to try you out! Can’t wait to go back. Let see, try noodles next time, or sea bass and pink pineapple tacos next??? Or the steak? Or the pork belly again, and again… ?? Thank you!!

  The environment at Fuego was amazing. Super vibrant and welcoming with great music and cool decor. We had such a good time. The food was so good. Every dish had bold fresh flavors. We also loved the margaritas. They were perfectly balanced and refreshing. Our server Leah was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and knew the menu so well. She gave great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall it was an incredible night. We left happy and already planning to go back. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

  Stopped in to Fuego last night to celebrate a friend's new job. I have been to Fuego before but it was his first time. We had a great experience. The food was delicious and the service was absolutely fantastic. My friend had the skirt steak and said it was in the top 3 best steaks of all time for him. I had the chicken fajitas and they are SO MUCH BETTER with the sliced chicken breast. So glad you got rid of the airline breast, it just didn't seem to make sense for fajitas. Our server Abigail was very attentive and took great care of us. Also one of the Supervisors (Roberto) stopped by the table to make sure we were satisfied. Overall a wonderful experience!!

  The overall vibe and atmosphere was great. The food was amazing and the drinks, delicious. We sat at the bar with Julie as our bar tender and we will definitely be back for her. Not only was she knowledgeable and timely, during a busy hour, she was so personable and friendly. She made great recommendations, and her drinks were amazing. She made the overall experience even better than we expected. 10/10
