I would thoroughly recommend to avoid this situation unless there are less than 5 customers inside as some of these workers do not know stress management for their life. Line worker was muttering under her breath complaints of my order even though she didnt even TRY to get my order right, and closed the lid even after i said i wasnt done, i had two other bowls and figured she was stressed but man she did not know how to manage it. Charged us extra by writing something on the lids of bowlsas well and given the atmosphere, existing line, and demeanor of this worker, was not in the mood to try to contest this.

I go to Chipotle in sarasota a couple times a week and I will never walk into state road 70 again. The eye rolling, mess where the food Is, asking for food where it makes them have to refill or walk is unbelievable. The green sauce had more corn in it then the corn container. Guy on the phone while keeping what looked like the walkin cooler door wide open. Cashier never changed gloves or washed hands before going back to the line. Never again state rd 70

I’ve been coming to this Chipotle for over three years, and I can say with absolute certainty that out of 50+ Chipotle locations I’ve visited, this is hands-down the worst one in existence. I don’t even understand how management is allowed to keep this place operating. Chipotle prides itself on standards — and this location fails to meet even the lowest bar imaginable. And that’s not exaggeration… that’s consistency. Every. Single. Visit. There is always a problem. No food. No urgency. No attention to customers standing at the counter. I’ve literally watched employees focus on one person for 10 minutes while a line builds up — in a fast-casual restaurant. That should never happen. And somehow, they are always out of 30% of the ingredients. At all times. How does a Chipotle run out of core items… daily? What’s shocking is that people still come here — not because it’s good, but because it’s convenient. That’s the only explanation. This isn’t about blaming individual workers. This is systemic failure: • Training is broken • Service is nonexistent • Preparation is sloppy • Standards are ignored • Leadership is absent Corporate needs to step foot in this location themselves. Rottie, if you’re reading this — come see it firsthand. I cannot believe a Chipotle in Lakewood Ranch — or anywhere — is allowed to operate like this and still wear the brand name. At this point, the only honest solution is to shut it down, retrain from scratch, or replace management entirely. Because whatever this is… it’s not Chipotle.

There’s HUNDREDS of 1 star reviews & the overall rating keeps going down but nothing is changing. Either Chipotle needs new management here or corporate deserves to shut this location down because it should be turned in for its lack of sanitation. I have found meat in my queso or sofritas FOUR times. This is NOT vegetarian friendly. Chipotle has gone so downhill. Go to Urban Taco.

this might be the first time I’ve ever written a review for anything bc of how awful this experience was On New Year’s Eve this store definitely should’ve just closed, the staff were incredibly rude, the store was out of a lot of food, they charged us for drink cups but refused to give them to us, and they seemingly refused to fulfill the rest of another customers catering order Stay away from this location near any holiday and pray you don’t have to deal with the staff that was working at the time
