We came during the Holiday season so the shop had a few limited time flavours that we wanted to try before we couldn't. I opted to pair the Gingerbread Ice Cream with Caramel sauce. The cold ice cream with the bread was a very interesting combination. For the filling, I found the spiciness from the gingerbread paired well with the sweetness from the caramel sauce. Now, I love bread! And I love ice cream! But together, there was something about it that missed the mark for me. To be honest, I finished the dish and thought "meh". I think this was overhyped and probably not something I need next time I visit. I will probably just grab a scoop or two in a cup because their ice cream was very very good.
